I was taken by surprise as I read through the words on the pages of this book. I really had no concept of what "Living The Quaker Way" meant. I had thoughts of the Amish for some reason or something along those lines. I have to say I honestly got a whole lot out of reading this book! Also, some of the things the author spoke about were things I believe the Lord was already having me lean towards. One of these things was living a simpler life. What I have already begun to do, living a simpler life, was confirmed and further explained to me in this book. Yet it is so much more then that. I love the writing style and heart of the author, Philip Gulley. I loved reading his testimonies he shares to get the point across. Loved reading about the things he wrote such as integrity, seeking truth, and especially equality which seems to be so much missing in our world today. I don't think you would be sorry for reading this but would feel the way that I do...that this is wholesome reading which can and should lead to a better way of living and better character.
I recommend this book to you.
